Founder and COO (Chief Organizing Officer) of The Organized You. I am an experienced and successful entrepreneur having sold my Certified Woman Owned Cybersecurity and Staffing Firm. After I sold my company, I decided to pursue my love of organizing and helping people transform their lives.
I believe in creating solutions that you can live with when we leave. As a lifetime Boston area resident, I am familiar with the unique needs and styles of our area. My goal is to develop a customized solution for you to maintain now and in the future. I am a member of the National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals (NAPO) and various Boston area business groups. Also, I’m an independent representative for The Container Store’s Contained Home Program which allows us to offer custom closet design to our client
Betsy McKenna
Prior to joining The Organized You, Betsy owned a floral design business where she focused on weddings, events, and in-home services. She absolutely loves floral design and has a natural eye for arranging just about anything…so going from arranging flowers to arranging homes was a natural transition.
Betsy grew up on Cape Cod and is naturally drawn to the beach. She graduated with a business degree from Fairfield University in 1999 and moved to Boston immediately after. Prior to her design work, she spent 13 years working for large investment companies. Now she loves helping clients get organized and create systems that will work for them and their families. Betsy is also a member of the National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals (NAPO) and various Boston area business groups.
Kara Metcalf
Prior to joining The Organized You, Kara was in software sales for many years. After leaving the corporate world Kara went on to start her own custom apparel and embroidery business. She brings this creativity to each space we are working in.
Kara loves helping clients declutter. She feels having a decluttered space will help declutter your mind therefore having less stress. Her creativity comes in handy when she is setting up a functional flow of the home for our clients.
Kara holds a Bachelor's degree in Business from The University of Massachusetts and is the founder of The Charmed Frog, her embroidery business. When you see us in our gear you’ll now know who embroidered it!
